I don't know what I'm doing
But first, here's a visual diary
For today's issue, I knew I wanted to do something different but had no idea what. Last week, while scrolling through my phone out of boredom, I realized how my Snapchat is a time capsule, holding memories of moments I will always cherish. So, I thought I’d share a sort of visual diary with you today.
Lately, I’ve been waking up early to beat traffic and get to work on time. Not that I have any strict starting time, but I want to escape all the craziness that Lagos traffic brings. However, on some days, like in photo number 2, I ask myself why I’m at work so early. But when I remember that I’m not stuck in traffic in a dirty korupe, I cheer myself up with selfies that never see the light of day.
Every action has repercussions, right? Due to the early mornings, I get exhausted faster than I would if I woke up later. To keep my productivity at a maximum, music, coffee, and this brand of soda crackers help keep me going. I just have a little fear that I will get brown teeth from drinking too much coffee.
One thing I miss about home that I didn’t realize until a few weeks ago is how often I eat fruits. I noticed how fruits are non-existent in my diet and made it a point to have fruits as often as I can, with watermelon and pineapple being my favorite combo at the moment 😋.
You know how much I love African literature, right? I decided to try something outside my comfort zone for a change. I thrifted this book, and for almost three months now, I still can’t bring myself to read it 😫.
I saw these boys on my way home from work and couldn’t stop staring at them. They were so happy and laughed so much that their happiness made me happy as well.
I decided to take my skincare a little more seriously and added this salicylic acid serum to my non-existent routine. I hope my skin cares 😏.
If anything I own could speak, these walking shoes would be the rudest. I wear them almost everywhere. They are so comfortable and have saved me many times, especially on those days I had to get down and walk home due to traffic. So, I wasn’t surprised when they decided to give up on me. Sad.
BRT. I can’t believe how grateful I am for BRTs. Although sometimes crowded, they save me a few coins and a lot of headaches.
The face I’m giving that omo iya mi directly before me for refusing to call me. It is well oh 🥱.
Lastly, I’ve been doing some academic studying lately. The only thing I can say is that I don’t miss school at all, but sadly, learning has to go on.
Hope you enjoyed going through my gallery with me.
Till next time, be happy.
Amara 🤗

I suggest it could be as a result of going through a private school ...next time try my school💞
What am I not missing about school days? 1or two odds. But I miss many more school matters than we could record. School was a big fun o!, the play sweet pass anything/

So Sad And Very Bad...
How fruitless this Lagos State is, Even the so called fruits you find here for sales did not meet up to home standard in any way.
I still prefer the village diets to this Lagos things.
