When Did Wrong Become Right?
Let's unpack this together!
I never knew wrong had the ability to evolve into right, that a day would come when things we vehemently frowned upon would be stirred at and called good. We defend this evolution with everything we are, even when things clearly do not add up. So, I need to understand: has the scale for measuring right and wrong gone bad, or perhaps the yardstick has shortened with time? I guess I should share some of these thing so you can help me pinpoint what went wrong.
Cancel Culture: When did publicly shaming and ostracizing someone over their opinions or past mistakes become fun? With social media constantly making the world a global village, giving us access to people we might never meet in person, why choose to be mean and hurtful when love is easier to express? Weren’t we raised to be kind with our words, or have our manners and respect evolved too?

Same-Sex Marriage: This point might get me canceled, but it has to be said. No matter how hard we defend same-sex marriage, the truth remains that it defies God’s order of things. To show how much God frowns upon this, he destroyed two cities in Genesis 19. The truth is, God loves those partaking in this act all the same; He just doesn’t love their decisions and actions. That’s the same stance I have on this matter.
People and Their Objectified Identities: This still cracks me up. You mean God made us all in his image and likeness, but some people decided to be identified as furries, pluralities, otherkin, celestial beings, and so on? It is well.
Diagnosis from Google School of Medicine: It clearly does not make sense to get diagnosed by Google. I’m guilty of this, and I’m sure you are too. I know I shouldn’t be searching my symptoms on Google, but I did it on Sunday. Trust Google to make me feel like I’m two seconds away from breathing my last breath with every suggestion while failing to consider that I’m a woman and that my symptoms might be premenstrual syndrome (PMS), which it actually turned out to be. Please, let’s go back to seeking medical advice and diagnosis from a physician.
Till next time, be good!
